This crossing is so dangerous!! The council need to pull there fingers out and get onto it as soon as possible. Them girls disnt deserve to die. And its all the councils fault. Plus its a 30 zone!! If anyone was crossing and a car was coming at tgat speed they have no chance at stopping. Its not the drivers faults its the councils!! How many more deaths do they need to realise its dangerous!! Ive crossed this crossing so many times and my heart races everytime i cross!! Its a busy place especially at school times and its not safe for drivers to wait when people are crossing!!!

This petition calls upon Oldham Council to upgrade the Zebra Crossing to a Pelican Pedestrian Crossing on Milnrow Road, Shaw, near to its junction with Salts Street Shaw, before another person is killed or seriously injured.

its discusting that the council haven't done this already. A pelican crossing needs to be put in place its too late for the poor girl that lost her life and im soo sorry for her family.
