This road is way too fast for a Zebra crossing. Annalise and your Family, out thoughts are with you.

You are without doubt one of the most sick, miss informed, low, base, pathetic individuals I have ever had the misfortune to address over the internet and believe me I work in computer forensics and I have dealt with some true scum of the earth...A child dies in a most horrific manner and you defile and debase her memory by using pathetic references about driving from a video website...I am amazed at the restraint of the users and people on this site who have managed to hold their tong regarding your slime ridden, creature like trolling of this petition...neither are you worth the time it took me to type this which was a matter of seconds or worthy of its content...it’s such a shame that somehow you were created and you were given the power of the use of your hands...it also amazes me that idiots like you somehow think that the internet grants you animosity because believe me it doesn't... just imagine the 5000+ people who have signed this petition in disbelieve that it would take a child’s death before a council makes the decision to create a safer crossing for children, how your vile comments anger them...such a shame if your ip address should appear somewhere that you wouldn't like

Zebra crossings should be removed altogether. Pelican crossings are much better and easier to see .

It is a disgrace that we have to wait untill someone is killed before something is done. may I suggest you put up a pelican Crossing before some one else dies. thank you

Road safety in residential areas should be paramount. Cost should not be a factor.

The Council needs to spend money on something worthwhile and wanted by the community and not keep wasting our money on unnecessary projects.

dangerous crossing. As I live in Royton and travel past this crossing from time to time I am aware of the danger. People who do not live in the locality may not see the danger until it is too late.

Please take action, before another person or a child is tragically taken from us. I go home on this route and I have witnessed many near misses involving both car & pedestrian. My thoughts go to her family during this sad time.

If I had a 14 year old daughter I would worry my head off about her using any crossing. I am 51 have 33 years of highways experience & I no how u take your life in your hands each time you cross.( On you tube) there is some shocking footage of pedestrians getting knocked down (mostly Russian) most of there cars in Russia have mini camaras fitted for insurance reasons. If you watch this footage forget it's in Russia because the bad bad drivers are on our roads too!!!! So take note when you cross a road 9 times out of 10 it's not the road it's not the crossing. THAT'S RIGHT IT'S BAD DRIVING........
