Cars without the stop go way too fast through this intersection. Many times people don't know or remember that it is not a 4-way stop, so I have seen many near-collisions. People are also distracted by kids in their cars, or coming from one direction but not another. Without a 4-way stop here, it is only a matter of time until a child it hit by a car. Please have the foresight to install 2 more stop signs here, and save a life! Thank you.

I use this crosswalk all of the time with my young kids and I am concerned about how fast cars travel on Vistamont. I believe a 4 way stop sign would alleviate this problem

A stop sign would be well placed at this location.

I am very surprised there is not a 4way stop sign here so close to the school. I use this crosswalk to pick up my son everyday and am shocked at how fast people fly through the intersection with so many pedestrians around.

My wife and I have lived on Rodney for almost 30 years and our children attended Hacienda. For all of those years I've always wondered why it wasn't a 4 way. There are some that are really late picking up their children and really bolt through it.

Please consider adding this stop sign. We have several near-misses every month.

This is an intersection that is in desperate need of a 4-way stop sign. During school hours, it is filled with lovely children with no sense in their heads and a blind curve just to the North. In addition, even when there are no school hours, this intersection is confusing and a traffic problem because people with mistakenly stop when they don't need to. Please make it safer and easier for everyone!

Adding these stop signs would slow the traffic on Vistamont, giving pedestrians safer crossing at Rodney and maybe even Carrie Lee Way.

There are so many little kids running and walking around here. Please install this sign before a tragedy happens.

I pass through this intersection every day. It is treacherous, and with kids crossing, there should be extra safety precautions taken. A good step is a 4-way stop!

I drive this street everyday and I have to leave to work once I drop off my son, I look both ways for traffic but sometimes it's very hard to see coming traffic from Vistamont which doesn't have a stop. 4 way stop is desperately needed.

As the President of Hacienda's Parent/Teacher Organization (HIPS), I support the installation of a 4-way stop for the safety of our school community and our neighbors. Far too many times, I have watched folks cross this intersection with the assumption that it is a 4-way stop (because it "reads" as one), only to be surprised by cars barreling through the intersection. Many close calls...let's make a change before someone is hurt, or worse yet, killed.

Why is children’s safety not our number one priority, I do not understand. From what I understand the study was a few people watching the intersection during traffic hour. They do not take their children through the area on a daily basis and see the issues first hand. I have a son who has attended Hacienda for three years and many times myself I have experience the issue of cars not yielding to children, parents or just paying attention. Is it such a burden to add an extra safety measure so simple to save a child’s life or do you need there to be a fatality on your conscience to prove the point. I hope that is not the case!
