With no students in the premises, utility bills will be lower, there are no expenses for stationeries - overheads has drastically come down. Fees are paid for use of facilities too however students are at home.

We need to get real and understand the economy of the country we are living in. It is not realistic for all businesses to suffer while schools are doubling their profit.

DESS, DBS and many other schools have announced Tuition Fee Reductions. We expect the same from Innoventures.

Hi, as you may be aware, some of the parents have already received letters from their employers notifying them of the possibility of either a reduction in salary, removing education/school allowance benefits and in some cases delay in the payment of salary.
We are all aware of the needs and requirements of schools to maintain the high educational standards and retaining good teachers. However, the schools have reduced their main expenses such as utility bills, school supplies, transportation, reduction in rent by the government, technology maintenance, and so on.
We are also confident that the teachers would equally support our cause, as we are all connected and affected by this common global phenomenon and need to support each other in these difficult times.
As this is the primary concern of many parents, please manage to reduce the fees for the next semester moving forward.

Our 2 daughters have been at DIA for a combined 16 academic years, and we are grateful of the educational experience provided to them. We have accepted the fee increases to date on the basis the quality of education was improving over time. This unplanned change to distance learning has all in uncharted waters, and represents a decrease in tangible aspects of the curriculum. Parents are going to incur additional costs for children’s other home education and activities to complement the distance learning and compensate for the reduced contact hours.

It is unfair for DIA to expect to receive full payment when people in the country is taking pay cuts and losing their job. The Board of Directors and owners need to get their salaries reduced as well along with everyone else to struggle through this.

Being in Real Estate brokerage / renovation/ fit out industry our business is one of the worst hit with almost 100 % loss in revenue generation due to this unprecedented lockdown. Future situation is also totally unclear on when things would actually start moving. We really look forward to a serious consideration in school fees, especially for KG1 class where there’s technically no significance of any distance learning as this age is most apt for social meetings / playgroups / behavioral development rather than any serious studies. We all hope that with everyone’s support we’re able to stand together and weather this once in a lifetime crisis...

As much as we appreciate the work the teachers are doing at the moment, the service provided simply doesn’t justify the fees for term 3. It is only fair DIA should shoulder some of the burden along with the rest of the community.
