This story breaks my heart. My babes was also wrongly convicted of a crime that he did not committ. He has been incarcerated for 9 years in a NY State max prison. He is only 30 years old went in at age 21. He lost trial and is serving 50 to life. What keeps him alive is his focus on Freedom. Coming home. He stays in law library working on his appeal. His aunt and I also help him with support not just financially but with visiting him on the regular. Speaking with lawyers, Private attorney. Its hard when the finances are not available to pay thousands of dollars to attorneys private investigators etc. I adore him. The system has let him down. It is designed to isolate you from family. My babes says his resistance is what keeps him going "No quit"He wants to come home where he belongs. I tell him if I die before I see him free to please continue this goal. I will sign this petition. I can relate. God Bless

Im tired of this system failing us all the time ... We as a people need to come together with in our communities and create better opportunities for our youth... They dont kno us or what we been through only we kno so with that said its time to step up and make a change in the way we "THINK" ..
