Dionis Mejia was on the verge of signing his contract with def jam when he was wrongfully convicted to 17yrs if his life for a crime he absolutely did not commit. Dionis amongst others were literally a harassment target for the 23rd precinct in Harlem who btw are known for being corrupt. It is unfair and definitely unjust for him to continue another day in prison. How is it why is it that the police officers and the government can get away with ruining a young mans future just to say they arrested someone! The justice system failed him and failed his family he has and his family has missed 7 yrs thus far of life/holidays he was ready to help the youth of his community bringing them music
