I've seen bits of it on various file-sharing sites, along with Rutland Weekend Television, but would be giddy with delight if IBOR was repeated and/or given a DVD release.

There was never a more creative and melodious programme in the whole of BBC2 at nine o'clock in the evening. It made growing up fun and just a little bit magical - Abra -cadabra-a-a-.

I'd buy this if it went out on DVD, as would many others. Surely the BBC can release it, even if they were just motivated by pound signs.

It wasn't just the songs, wonderful as they are, but the videos, the daft bits in between, the whole greater than the sum of the parts. I was involved in TV audience research at the time IBOR originally went out, and it was the only programme I awarded five stars.

Neil Innes is a real National Treasure, with all the talent to back it up. He is not a "padodist". The songs he wrote for the Rutles were warm, affectionate and joyous reminders of how good the "other" four lads were. Make This Happen!

was only 15 ,when it was shown on bbc2 1979;thought there was only one series made'dinnnt know that it was neil innes from urban spaceman fame...monty python,the ruttles etc..till I saw the holygrail..I tried to buy it innes book of records box set on line...today 22nd july 2016 ...here hoping it gets released on dvd .with cd...am way to try get the ruttles now?neil innes is amazing
