Like most of I remember it well and thought it very funny at the time. The tunes were great too. It is incredible that the BBC has not brought this back to our screens. Is there any copyright isse?

Neil Innes is a national treasure. To my mind Innes Book of Records pre-dates the advent of mainstream music videos and MTV.
Come on BBC2, help celebrate your 50th birthday by celebrating one of your best products, or at least put this fab series out oon DVD and realise some lurce to be shared with Neil.

It would be marvellous to see another series on TV. I had the whole thing on video for years, also all Neil's LPs on vinyl (God, I'm old!) and would love for there to be more. Having just seen the Rutles programme on Heyday TV I was reminded how clever Neil's writing is. Good luck in the future!

Why not take advantage of this great opportunity to remind people of the time when the BBC had the confidence to broadcast such wonderful original work? Everyone would benefit.......fans, the BBC, and Neil Inness.

It's got to be better than the appalling, but somehow much vaunted 'the Office'.

A wonderful series, original, inventive and funny - exactly what the BBC is for! Definitely deserves a re-airing, whether on BBC or elsewhere. Please either re-braodcast or sell the broadcast rights to another company which will actually air it!

In a world of twaddle, piffle and insanity, we need Neil's DVD box-set of 'Innes book of records' and we need it now! Come on BBC. Better late than never. Clips on youtube are not enough.

These episodes were all home-grown jewels and so very watchable. Catchy tunes and clever lyrics too.
