Why limit the movement of a sports club to a new venue with the increasing rates of obesity? Sports should be encouraged.

A fantastic idea being developed by a person with huge vested interest within Southampton that wants to help and develop children and adults alike to improve fitness and confidence.

This seems the perfect solution and there can surely be no reasons to say no?

Really needed in the community inner city boxing has done so much and has outgrown it premises. St Mary’s leisure centre would be perfect for its growth

Boxing is not about beating someone up. It's about discipline and fitness the people that run this gym are a great team.

Good opportunity for the gym and all that choose to train there - great work being done with the local community. Great gym to train in

Although I as an individual have never been to the leisure centre I know that it has had a tremendous effect on the community surrounding it. Young people such as myself go to places like this to get away from it all, to release stress, to prevent themselves from mixing in with the wrong crowds, to learn morally and intellectually and so much more. To take something like this away from a community is a travesty and down right wrong. I know, funding and all of that rubbish, but think about the way this place has positively impacted so many of peoples lives. Yours Faithfully, Jaiden Michael Prentice

Fully support Inner City Boxing Club & the roll they play within the St. Mary's community. It would be fantastic to see them be successful in the takeover of St. Mary's Leisure Centre!
