We are asking you to sign this petition for Inmates locked up in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Back in 2009 Governor Pat Quinn had signed a bill banning inmates who went to programs in the Illinois prisons to get an early release. Our tax dollars are paying for these inmates who have minor offenses that can be released early for the programs they are entering in the Illinois Department of Corrections to better themselves to re-enter into society. Prisons are so overwhelmed that these inmates with minor offenses are being put in maximum security prisons and they are put in more danger..Please sign this petition and let them come home to there families where they belong...
