Information Request for Changes to Mountain Meadows Care Services

We have been at this daycare for over 4 years, I have a child in the after school program and a child that is in the daycare program ( that will be attending mountain meadows as well Sept 2018). This daycare is not only a facility, but a place that has become family. This is where my children spend their summers/ pro-d days and numerous other days when the school is not in session. How are we supposed to find alternate after school care at their own school location if the program is being taking away. Can't the school board have another portable added to the grounds to accommodate another classroom? There are so many parents that need after school care and taking away space is not helping the problem. The schools enrolment will only get bigger and this will be an issue for parents to find care. The fact of the matter is Mountain Meadows and the school board are being unfair with the way they are handling this. Shouldn't there have been a meeting to discuss the needs of the kids and families that they will be affecting? There has to be a way to come to a viable conclusion. Mountain Meadows is supposed to be all about " community", well, I do not see that happening in this matter. Parents and kids make the schools community, let's work together in this. All I know is, I have a child that needs care after school and there should be a discussion out of respect for the parents and caregivers and how this will affect them, this is simply not acceptable.

We've been at this daycare for 2 years and with a new baby we already planned to have both children there. now we have to find a new daycare and choose between having children at two different daycares or displacing the older one away from his teachers and friends that he grew up with.

Must be a way to be more fair with rooms for both daycare. We need as much space as possible for all the children that need daycare.

This is outrageous, it was hard enough to find child care for us with 6 mth's to look and now they want to give us 30 days! Very Unreasonable.

Will limited aftercare programs all over the tri-cities, the importance of JCCC's program is vital to my family and many others. We strongly support their bid to keep their existing classroom and continue providing the excellent and much needed care they do..

We love JCCC and our son went there for two years. Daycare is such a stressful issue for parents and I can't imagine the grief this is causing the parents, kids and staff.

Looking before / after school care at this school will mean that we will have to change schools. I find this heart breaking for my child to loose his friends in the community. The care the Junior Citizens provides us is a necessary service for our family
