We need to know what will happen - we moved to Europe legally - will we be made "illegal" and lost out on many thins - or can UK residents be treated like Norwegians in the EU.

Also with a mass exit from mainland Europe countries back to the UK, causing plummeting house values / unsellable houses. What support will be available when we are force to return, virtually asset less to the UK.

I live and work in France, I would like to know what effect, coming out of the EU would have on my working and living here. I pay taxes in France, having lived here for nearly 8 years, and am part of the French health system, outside of any influence from UK NHS.

There is so much talk about immigration, nobody is informing the public about the consequences of 2.2 million expats, all of whom are happily living in EU countries, being given no economic choice but to return to the UK.
They will arrive homeless, so in need of social housing, as they will almost certainly be unable to sell their European property due to a massive increase in homes coming on the market and the subsequent devaluation, making any purchase in the UK impossible.
All will become an additional burden to the already overstretched NHS and, as many are pensioners, so the burden increases with the usual ailments that occur as old age takes its toll. The majority of returning expats will need, and be entitled to, help from the welfare system, including job seekers allowance, child benefits and pension credits AND they will be perfectly entitled to them, unlike non-British immigrants, under Mr Cameron's new agreement.
Expats want to stay where they are. They need a reciprocal healthcare agreement. They need to be able to receive their pensions. They are proud to be British and do not want this birthright taken away from them. Many of them are entitled to vote and will do so. Bear in mind also, the consequences of lives being destroyed, children being taken out of schools and colleges they love and forced to enter already overcrowded UK schools.

Its important we know how such an exit will affect us. Clouding the issues with scare mongering stories does nothing to reassure expats.

It's unfair that we do not have a say in our future..already you have removed my right to vote...so this is surely a small compensation.
