i have watched this happen at my school for many years . many of us have reported the abuse & many have stood by and done nothing ! It hurts my heart ! How can I help ??

Parents should ALWAYS be informed of any abuse that takes place in their presence whether or not it is happening on their physical body.

It is horrifying as a parent that such abuses and investigations can be hidden. Please require that notifications go out so parents are aware.

First, I’m shocked that this type of abuse would happen and that administration / other staff would not take action sooner. Any staff with awareness of abuse that did not report to CPS is considered liable according to mandatory reporting laws. Families of children in contact with the abuser should be informed of the concerns and should have the right to chose a different location of care.
