To: Mayor Joe Hogsett and the City of Indianapolis
The Indiana Pacers gave us a run for the ages—grit, unity, and unshakable heart. Even though they fell short of a championship, they made us believe again. This team deserves a celebration not for a trophy, but for capturing the soul of Indianapolis, embodying the essence of Hoosier basketball, and bringing the city together.
We are asking the city to organize a public event or parade to honor the Pacers’ incredible playoff run and for the fans who stood behind them. Let’s turn Monument Circle into a sea of blue and gold one more time and show this team that regardless of the outcome, we have nothing but pride for how they represented Indiana
Win or lose, this team is ours. Let’s celebrate them the Indy way.
They played their hearts out! Never saw a team fight that hard in years. Indy needs to show them some love even if they didnt get the ring. Lets get a parade going!
