The current level of interest confirms that the historic structure of the field is a non-negotiable priority for the fanbase. I am now compiling these names into a formal document to present directly to the board to ensure they understand the scale of opposition regarding this proposal.

33 cars is the whole point of the 500. leave tradition alone for once!!!
Ridiculous to even think about changing it. The race isnt the same without the full grid. Keep it at 33.

Just another way to ruin racing. dont mess with the history of the indy 500. stick to 33 cars.
