I support the complete decriminalization, legalization, and allowance of Hemp fibre as use by the Guyanese people and economy.

With the new laws advocating the cultivation of hemp into a multi-billion dollar business in the USA ,Guyana should follow suit.

Let's start taking care of our people. The time is now! Let's not plunge deeper into ignorance and despair. We have untouched potential to be world leaders in this industry, which can also fund our renewable energy endeavours. Support life, support our people!

certainly it should be legalize...it is a shameful ungodly waste to let the vast potential of this God-given plant be ignored and criminalized...such thinking belongs to the world of ignorance and deliberate wickedness.

Hemp and quinoa cost more than rice and sugar combine on the retail market , I think it's time we move away from these traditional goods.

Guyana can be a model for sustainability with the cultivation of this beneficial plant. Not only can hemp help with phyto-remediation, it can be used for a variety of textile and construction projects.
