Met the Dato' once when he first started with FINAS - He struck me as a man with an incredible generosity and a genuine passion to elevate the local film industry. We need more people like him in the creative arts, and while I don't understand why his position is being challenged, for goodness sakes please keep him on!

I'm no contributor to the industry, but I've had the pleasure of viewing the magic produced with the support of FINAS under Dato Kamil's watch as Director-General. I'm extremely proud of the contributions to Malaysian cinema in recent times, and for the first time in a very long while, I can honestly say that we have a real shot at making something beautiful happen.
Keep Dato' Kamil in, and I believe his brand of leadership in FINAS, combined with the inclusion of our esteemed film-makers, will continue to steer the industry to greater heights!
