To The Board Members Of The Songwriters Hall Of Fame I am writing on behalf of singer songwriter Steve Forbert. My main objective and ultimate goal is to have Mr. Forbert elected into the Hall Of Fame.For that to happen it would take the awareness of all of you of what Mr.Forbert has contributed to the music world in the last 40 years. With the release last year of The Best Of The Mississippi Recordings it shows the excellence of his songwriting as early as 1973. In the last 5 decades he has written and recorded approximately 200 songs. Combine the quantity with the quality I believe earns Mr.Forbert at the very least consideration to the Hall.I hope all of you take the time to listen to the music and in so doing think it is time for Mr. Forbert to be recognized as one of the very best songwriters.
