Lucky Dube's music communicated with the listener, melody, sound and harmony put together by a genious who knew what music was all about. His music promoted love and peace. Having started his career in an environment or country where man was separated by the colour of their skin, Lucky was the voice of reason in uplifting the spirits of his fellow countrymen and all of Africa with lyrical content which was clean to the bone. For a raggae artist originating from Africa and having the respect of fellow musicians like the Morgan Heritage family who are lyrical masters in their own right tells a lot of the man. Lucky Dube's music is known all over the world. As an aparthied activist he played a big part in uplifting the mood of an oppressed people with his music. Africa, Europe,America, Asia,Oceanna etc Lucky Dube music is known and respected. More than 22 albums of serious lyrical clean content is a mark of pure genious
