How can there be a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame without one of Rock's greatest artists? Shame! However, in some ways, the Hall dosen't deserve Link Wray.
No need to even mention the subsequent musicians he influenced. His music speaks for itself on its obvious place in history.
I'm lucky that I got to see Link. I'm a gezzer who saw the Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Floyd, Crimson,Who, Stooges, Mothers,MC5 in the 60's and 70's and Link rocked as hard as any of them. NOW IS THE TIME FOR LINK!!!!!!!
Without Link Wray there is no Punk, no Heavy metal, there is no edge to rock on with.
Link Wray raised rock and roll to twice! In the late 1950's with his super shredding power cords, and in the late 1970's, with Robert Gordon, recreating early Rockabilly hits that blew disco off of the FM airwaves.
Link Wray invented rock n roll guitar. it’s a crime he is not reconized in the Rock n Roll hall of fame! Induct him now!
It's a cryin' shame he's not in there already!

Come on! The impact of Link Wray has screamed across so many genres and musicians… get it done or there’ll be a RUMBLE!!!
