The committee finally quit ignoring the obvious and officially inducted Stevie Nicks as a solo artist. It took far too long for these gatekeepers to stop dragging their feet but we forced their hand. She belongs in the hall on her own terms and tonight she is finally there.

Induct Stevie Nicks to the Hall of Fame for her words and music have saved lives and provided strength to many people...there is magic and it's sung with love and from the depth of her heart that has connected millions to her...
Stevie Nicks deserves to be the first female artist to be inducted as both a member of a band as well as a solo artist. Her solo career has spanned 35 years and she continues to be both a solo artist and a member of Fleetwood Mac.
She has provided some of the best rock and roll hits both in fleetwood mac and as a solo act. She has always been working on her music for decades. Through drug problems, madness and loss. So in my opinion she deserves every honour she can take.
I believe Stevie Nicks has earned a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as she has had so many classic solo R&R hit songs on the charts that are still receiving so much radio time they are more popular and should not be ignored!!!
What are you waiting for? Are you waiting to have to do it posthumously? I'm just shocked that she isn't already there as a solo artist. All those younger female artists who are in the hall more than likely have been inspired by Stevie. It's time. Just do it.

With her 40+ years in music, her amazing songwriting, singing and stage presence, she deserves to be inducted. Not to mention all of the people she's inspired and all of her charity works. She is a force to be reckoned with. This induction for her solo work is long overdue.
