For years now, Phil Collins is my favourite musician. I don't think there is one day without listening to his music and I don't mean on the radio but on my iPod. For me he is a music genius and I think he truly deserves everything good...so PLEASE!

I would hope so!! He helped me through the years with his music. One of my favorites "Another Day In Paradise" underrated song in my opinion although I think it was an #1 hit song back in the day!

This guy is one of the biggest rock musicians the world has ever seen. His talent as a singer, songwriter and drummer are second to none. As he creeps into his 60s now, we have a obligation to recognise his enormous talent and to fail to would be a crazy miscalculation. He is LOVED within the music industry, everyone who has worked with him consistently says so. He is a gentleman, and all round nice guy. We should recognize him. So lets do it!

I totally agree with you David about American Idol & X Factor. The contestants come on & literally butcher Phil's songs with poor vocals and arrangements so far off the original, it makes the songs almost unrecognizable. And the judges have the nerve to praise this as originality. It's really sad if you ask me.

It should be a no-brainer. Phil Collins is an iconic figure in the music industry, still getting referenced and quoted in today's pop culture. Having won an Oscar and several Grammy's, Phil is MORE than deserving of this honor.

Please consider Phil Collins to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. i feel it is way pass due we give give Phil what he rightfully deserves for all the work he has done as a solo Artist.

This may seem small, but watch anyone on American Idol or X Factor try to sing on of Phil's songs. It can't be done. Phil's instrumentation can be approximated, but not duplicated. Trying to sing lije Phil is a futile endeavor.

Phil Collins should be there, he has made so beautiful music, beautiful songs and he´s the best performer. His tours were great, the best. Together with his drumming - No doubt he should be there.
