He is the best infielder in the history of baseball. I am not sure you can compare him to any other past or present MLB player and prove they are better or more deserving of being inducted. Yes, Pete Rose had faults (don't we all?). Yes, Pete Rose lied (don't we all?). Does his faults or lies turn his performance on the field into falicies? NO! There are current players who have been given less severe punishments for what I consider more severe crimes (ie A Rod). Crimes that are more damaging to the league than betting (not rigging) on the game. Rose loves this game, we love Rose! Give credit where credit is due and deserved. Induct Pete Rose into the National Baseball Hall of Fame!!!
