One of the true greats- his virtuosity and soulfulness as vocalist and instrumentalist, his creativity and originality as songwriter, his skills as producer/arranger- are all unequalled in the Rock and Roll era. His music shines out to this day. The man was groove personified. Time to do the right thing.

There should be no question as to the merits of this stellar musician who has influenced so many who have had the opportunity to listen to his output both solo and in band format. It's time to acknowledge him and give the accolades he so richly deserves.

I have written personal letters in 1994 and in 2001 to Jan Wiener and the RRHoF, one of them registered, with no reply. The register letter came back "undeliverable".

Little Feat and Lowell George remain one of my greatest musical loves. Lowell has influenced my guitar playing immensely and the shows I saw live with him remain some of my fondest memories. Please please induct this musical giant.
