"The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowhip of the Ring," released in 2001, is a groundbreaking and important contribution to cinema. Not only is this the first live action adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's widely celebrated book series but it also is also remains celebrated in movie culture today and the fact that the movie has been added to The American Film Institute's Top 100 Movie List says a lot about it. Being more than 10 years old, this movie is quallified to be in the Film Registry. Give this movie the legacy it deserves
