This is way overdue! I wish I could sign 100 times. I have a special place in my heart for Craig Chaquico, as he was an Ancil Hoffman Park friend and lived a few blocks from me. Our Hometown "Boy" who which we all are very proud of.

Red Octopus was a great LP. I bought it as soon as it came out.

They really had a unique sound thanks to Craig Chaquico's guitar & Papa John Creach's fiddle, along with Grace, Paul & Marty's vocal harmonies. Later the great power of Mickey Thomas on vocals. "A Child is Coming," "Caroline,," "Play on Love," "St. Charles," "Runaway" - my faves from the first few LPs. When you heard a new song from Jefferson Starship, within five seconds you knew it was them.

Because Mickey Thomas is probably the most unrecognized ,best singer in the world. Craig ,well best song writer, etc etc. Not to say anything about their creds in the early days. They are survivors ,and true musicians that sacrifice all for their art.

Thwy belong with all the musicians who were a part of the revolution of music. They stand the test of time. Myself my children and now grandchildren know and love the music. Truly a part of music history
