Induct Gene Watson into Country Music Hall of Fame

Gene Watson is the best of the best. There are other great country music singers, but there is truly no one better than Gene Watson. He has an amazing God given voice and talent, and he has blessed us with it for many years. He has worked hard in country music for years and been committed to real country music. His range is amazing! He sings from his heart and soul with so much emotion and feeling. He gives 100% every time. He is also a genuinely kind person and treats his fans well. The first time I saw him live was in the mid 1980s and he took the time to greet his fans and sign autographs and take pictures. There is a reason he is called the singers singer and so many greats still talk about his voice and talent today. And the way he sings gospel music is absolutely beautiful and soulful. In my humble opinion this honor is long overdue. Please give him this honor very soon while he and his lovely wife and family can be there to enjoy it. Thank you and God bless.

I don’t understand why Gene Watson has never been in the country music hall of fame, I’m 81 years old and I loved him when I was a teenager and have never heard anyone else with the voice he has. His music got me through two divorces and three kids also 6 grandkids. And I just bought his latest CD. It is wonderful. I have been to 5 of his concerts and hope to see him next week in Hiawassee ga. Please don’t wait until he dies before putting him in the Hall of Fame. He deserves much more than that.

Gene is one of the "shoulders of giants" that new country has the privilege of standing on. His music was more meaningful than today's fake accents and Nashville pop bragging frat boys singing about trucks, beer, small towns,how much the women love them, etc but it is what is is. Put Gene in before the first new country prima donna is put up.

Please show Gene Watson the respect he deserves. He is amazing and should of been in hall of fame years ago. DONT WAIT TILL HE’S GONE to do it. Gene Watson should have been inducted years ago. The have been numerous younger entertainers inducted that should be there, but overlooking Gene and inducting them before him is just not right. It upsets me just thinking about it. I love country music, but PLEASE put Gene in while he can enjoy it. Long overdue!

The powers to be who decide who is nominated for the Country Music Hall of Fame and those who make the final decision should make Gene Watson a member before their heads hit their pillow tonight! This is simply an insult to Country Music that this fabulous entertainer isn't a member of the Country Music Hall of fame. There is simply no question who it singing when Gene starts a song! That is called the it factor ! Please everyone who is a country music fan needs to sign this Petition, post it on your Facebook Page and make this happen for Gene!

I get so upset knowing Gene Watson is still not in the Country Music Hall of Fame. What a shame to country music and all the country musicians out there Each one should be ashamed for not fighting to get Gene in. We all know he has paid his dues and is totally one of the best country music performers and flawless singers there ever has been in Country music. He is long long overdue for this award. I am ashamed towards Country Music Hall of Fame that he's not already in there!!!

Gene Watson deserves every honor and award in the country music industry. He has so many number one hits, still has that great voice and is so loyal to his country music roots. He certainly belongs in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Gene Watson should definitely be added to the Country Music Hall of Frame. He is one of the best country singer ever. He has keep Country Music truly Country. This man seems to be so humble and respectful of his music and his fan. Please add him to this honor!

Gene Watson should have been in the hall of fame years ago. He is a great singer and a good man. He is one of my favorite singers.

There's no one that deserves this more than Gene. Him and his band always puts on a fanastic show, he always makes time for pictues, signing autographs and to talk and joke with the fans that come and see him.
