Chad Channing deserves to be inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame for his contributions to Nirvana. Not only did he play on their debut album Bleach, but he also wrote the drum parts for many of the songs on Nevermind (as can be heard on the Smart studios sessions). Not to mention the fact that he is the one playing on the Nevermind version of Polly.

The first Nirvana album is one of the best albums of all time, one of the best Nirvana albums. Nevermind was completely commercial, nice but commercial. I am a settled diehard Nirvana fan and I can tell you that Nirvana's first album is incredible, I listened to it over and over for months. That's how good it is and the drumming, although there are claims that Kurt protested, it's like a fingerprint. Do it.

Seems induction criteria are arbitrary. How else to explain side-stepping Chad Channing's inclusion for induction?

He should be inducted,he was a part of the band and even their debut album,it would have been a different thing if he only played live with them and did mot record the album with them but the point is he did record it,

I LOVE Nirvana and it's about time they were inducted but to not induct Chad Channing as a member of Nirvana is such a terrible joke.

All you have to do is listen to "Dive" and you have the recipe for Nirvana's drum sound. Chad Channing helped make Nirvana. Period. This is a sham on top of a travesty.
