It all started with my first Cheap Trick show at Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, CA in 1979. My life was changed forever. Blast forward 35 years and you would find my daughter and I attending my 53rd Trick show, her 6th (one of the 35th anniversary of Budokan shows, done 35 years to the day...was also at the 25th anniversary show). You know why I've been to so many shows? Cause they rock! So come on R&RHofF voters, do your job and let's get this done already.
Some additional facts to consider:
- More than 5000 shows performed over four decades;
- April 1st designated as Cheap Trick Day by the Illinois State Senate;
- Groups who have cited Cheap Trick as an influence include, but definitely not limited to, Guns N Roses, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Weezer, Green Day, Everclear, Motley Crue, The Ramones, and even Kurt Cobain, plus many, many more.
I could go on and on, but I think I've made my point. You need to elect Cheap Trick to the Hall of Fame.

I have seen Cheap Trick more times than I have seen any otherband and I have seen a lot of concerts since the first time I saw Cheap Trick back up Kiss on there Destroyer Tour in Kitchener Ontario in 1978. I just last saw them in Toronto back up Boston it should have been the other way Boston doing the first set. They sound just as good as they did when I first saw the band which we thought where called Cheap Shit. ha ha. They should have been in the hall years ago but due to the retards the do the nominating they are not. I hope they are in this round if not for god sake the next. Cheap Trick in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
