Cheap Trick belongs in the R & R HOF for several reasons. The most important one is they inspired so many other musicians. My god who didn't have a Cheap Trick tee shirt growing up.

Grew up with these guys. They r the BEST and deserve to b inducted in the Hall Of Fame.

It's frustrating, it's so overdue.
When you look at the non-rock acts that have been inducted, they have devalued the name of the hall.
Maybe someone needs to start "The Real Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" and induct real rock acts.
It's too bad they couldn't be true to their name.
Maybe Cheap Trick should return the snub and be a no-show once inducted.

This band has been very innovative, they tour constantly for over 40 years for their fans, and have been together for over 40 years, what more could you want or ask for? I think the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is a great honor but I will never ever visit it without my favorite band being in it. There are far less accomplished acts/bands that have been inducted because the Rock Hall has an obsession with trendsetters, they have made that their #1 criteria while leaving out great bands like Cheap Trick and Bon Jovi and until recently KISS. There was a reason why Paul Stanley of KISS was so upset on his great day and that's because it took far longer than it should have. The Rock hall really should be about Rock Music, otherwise call it the Music Hall of Fame. They have an identity problem when they induct rappers and soul or blues singers.

Been a CHEAP TRICK fan since the 70's, they deserve to be in the Hall.
