Let's help get blink-182 the recognition they deserve! As one of the bands that introduces young people to 'real' music, blink-182 are owed a debt of gratitude and what better way to show that than by giving the highest accolade in contemporary music.
How many of you played in blink-182 cover bands? How many of you sung All The Small Things at your Junior School party? How many of you bought Enema of The State as your first album because it had a sexy lady on the front?
Get behind the cause!
The stories you are sending about your first blink-182 albums prove that this nomination is long overdue. Email your local music journalists and explain why influential pop-punk acts belong in the Hall of Fame. Keep the pressure on so the committee hears us.

The momentum behind this push is real and the board of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame cannot ignore us for long. Post the petition link on your Facebook wall right now and text three friends who grew up listening to these records.

The first time I bought an Album with my own money I bought Dude Ranch and Chesire Cat. I already had copies of Enema and ToYPaJ. From Raynor to Skiba from boxcar to angels from punk to rap Ive followed their epic journey in music. Together and apart theyve made a huge mark on music. Ripping their guitars and slamming drums to the point they hold top spots as artisits. A rarity among bands of their time every album was filled with timeless tunes instead of the one or two hitters of all those around them. The collaborations the versatility the bare naked humanity of them. Punk's beatles. Punk Rush. Yeah they deserve it more than half those classic guys. My life is a blink 182 song.
