This intersection has needed a 4-way permanent light for years. I've always been nervous to be on 47 and cross 52, and I won't go near it during this detour. Sadly, many don't have a choice, and even more sadly, some have lost their lives because of it. Does a police officer directing traffic or a kid getting on or off a school bus have to die before a light is placed here? Making it a 4-way will force traffic on 52 to slow down. All these accidents occur ON 52, where people drive at interstate speed despite the increased traffic from the detours. Make large, very visible signage warning of the signal addition and of the speed limit as well. It shouldn't take more deaths to get something done

Stop light is needed badly.. This morning on my way to work a lady stopped in the north bound lane looked both way then took off. She about got rear ended. Something needed to be done!!!

There have been so many terrible and unfortunately fatal accidents at this intersection. Yes please we need this stop light badly.

What's wrong with you idiots? You should be held criminally responsible for the loss of life, personal injuries, and property damages that is occurring because your lack of action. I hope everyone of those affected by your lack of action sues the hell out of you. Wake up and do the right thing NOW.

I have seen multiple wrecks happen at this intersection. A few times I was almost in those wrecks because they hit so hard.

Please put a stop sign at that intersection. Maybe if there had been one the woman that was reaching for her coffee would have slowed down and the wreck would never have happened. You can't be to safe. What is the big deal anyway? It has always been a dangerous interesection. People crossing try to beat the north and south bound traffic. I have seen it. That road is not made to go any faster than 60 on. There are too many country roads that go off it. Farmers with implements etc. This is tax payers money and we say PUT ONE UP.
