If I have two parents and two grandparents, who gets the fifth spot - my sister or my fiancé? That is so unfair. I don't plan on bringing 20 but 5 is not enough.

We have worked hard for this blessed day. Limitation on tickets is just the easy solution. I would like to see Indiana State University work half as hard to find an actual solution as I did to graduate from this University

Why limit the loved ones to cherish a moment they all wish to see? Change the dates for undergrad and shared the moments on two different and memorable nights.

I am a first generation college student. It is only fair that my family can't come and celebrate with me. This is not only a celebration for what I have accomplished, but what they have inspired me to do.

5 seats does not even cover my immediate family....I would have to leave out ONE sibling and allow the rest.....I would even be satisfied if it was raised to 10. I understand that it can't be unlimited and not every single person you know should come, but shouldn't we at least have enough for immediate family and future family (my fiance would like to see his future wife graduate!)? I think the idea of having a separate ceremony for the graduate program is great! It would probably make it a little more meaningful for them anyhow. I hope this is all considered and perhaps administration will think back and remember who came to see them graduate from their place of higher education!

5 might be fine for me, but I understand the concern to many larger families and see this as an unfair "experiment" for an important day in the lives of graduates.

To be honest, I'm not going to need 15 tickets. I'm signing this because I am a first generation college graduate AND masters student. I feel for those who are the first to graduate in there family. Family is probably the biggest support system that a person has. For the community of Terre Haute, it would economically make more sense to have separate graduations for each college. The more people who come to the graduations, the more people will spend money on getting to Terre Haute, eating at local restaurants, sleeping at hotels, shopping at Honey Creek Mall, and much more. Parking's not going to be a concern. Just allow people to park in remote lots, the UA's, and other various lots. Have a shuttle system bring people to and from the event. In my opinion, it makes more sense to allow people to bring at least their immediate family to their graduation. ISU is a service-oriented institution. With this notion, the more people who come, the more we are doing a service to our alma mater by creating more revenue for the community we live in. End of story.

I have 6 and you are telling me I can't have one more pathetic ticket? Wow Isu is not advancing they are backtracking and be stupid. I refuse to fund the university after I graduate unless they change the rule. See how they make money then. Everyone should do it

This is so unfair not only due to families wanting to support their graduates but also the tremendous amount of current college friends who want to go and see the graduation as well.
