No public school system should be able to take away the rights of the people who pay the salaries of the teachers it employs with the taxes they pay. Where their money goes, so should their voices. Telling them "if they don't like it, they can choose to go elsewhere to educate their children" is not a choice nor is it an educated and mature response. Again, where their money goes....If they choose to go elsewhere to educate their children their tax dollars should not go to that public school system.

It is important that are children are protected from political ideology.
