I have been in touch with a few people who manage the theater and they are listening to the feedback we are sending their way. It feels surreal to see so many neighbors wanting the same kind of artistic depth in our own backyard. I am going to keep pushing them to dedicate just one of those eight screens to the independent films we all miss so much.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am far from the only one tired of driving to the city just to watch a movie. Your enthusiasm proves that our community is hungry for this kind of art right here in Woodstock.

YES PLEASE. tired of going all the way to chicago just to see a movie that isnt a superhero sequel. keep it local!!
Living in woodstock means driving way too far for decent movies. Please give us something besides the usual blockbusters that play at every other theater.

would love to walk to a theater and catch an indie flick. mc henry county really needs more culture.
