Recently, The Pokemon Company added a cap on the number of friends a user can add to the friend's list on Pokemon Trading Card Game Online (PTCGO). While the community understands that this was an intentional change, it left a gap in functionality that allowed users who stream the game for an audience to battle with audience members at will. This loss has been felt not only by the streamers, but by those who wish to participate in the stream as well.

We would like to request the removal of the friends list cap, or the addition of an in-game forum, such as the trading post, that would allow users to find and battle one another at will without adding each other to their friends list.

The community understands that The Pokemon Company has various development projects for PTCGO in progress, but we believe that this feature is an important part of our enjoyment and engagement with one another. Please let us know if this would be possible in the future.
