Dear Mr Kenneth Clarke the secretary of state for justice and the Attorney General.. I urgently call on you to act NOW to increase the sentences handed to Ricky Winter and Kristina Davies to reflect the true nature of their appalling abuse of two innocent boys. The boys were aged under 4 at the time and suffered sickening abuse at the hands of Ricky Winter and Kristina Davies.. After the sentencing, Acting Detective Sergeant Paul Deslandes, who led the investigation, said: "This was a particularly harrowing case and the children suffered truly sickening injuries." One expert witness, a paediatrician, said the case was the worst he encountered in 30 years.
