Increased Service at Lees Station

I really hope that OC Transpo has a clear idea of how "frequent" the few buses coming to lees will have to run. If not, I'm really hoping they at least clear the transit pathway if it starts to snow. Otherwise my walk will be 40min to the nearest 95 bus station.

This is a necessity. Not an option.

This service is quite important to many people. Please find a way to make it work.

Easily forgotten are those that need transit early in the morning.

I wrote to OC Transpo for at least more frequent 85 service. I hope they listen. Thanks for starting this petition!

I too deliberately moved to this neighbourhood to have access to the transitway. You would be surprised how few neighbourhood in this city have this luxury. I can't imagine what it will be like for those who live in the apartment buildings right across the street and beside the transitway, as there is absolutely no other reason to live in those units than for that benefit. What are you thinking and why would you do this? And in the winter - when waiting for a second bus or walking an extra distance is not only unpleasant, but can be risky if very cold or late at night. I have traveled around the world and used public transit in many countries. Ottawa's is astoundingly poor, and you wonder why you can't make a profit?! You keep alienating your riders and raising prices. With that approach, you never will!

I moved to lees for the proximity to downtown and the convenience and ease of getting around. This shut down is seriously going to affect my commute and the solution is a joke. For the amount of students that require the bus at this station, it is not enough. The 16 is a joke and not an efficient way to get to campus/downtown.

I have to get up for work at 6:00 in the morning. I work in Hull so Lees used to be convenient until this disaster of a construction started.

I go to carleton university and I can't be haVing to play bus roulette all the time just to make it to my classes on time. I need services to run frequently

I fully agree that service from Lees to downtown needs to be increased in frequency. This will affect my commute

When I moved to Lees the amount of busses that I could take to work were numerous (its the reason why I moved here). Over the past year those numbers have been drastically cut to the point that I have gone from have 8 options to get to and from work to one. And with that bus only operating every hours after 4am I might be stuck waiting in the cold at a bus stop for a bus that may never come. If OC transpo continues to cut back its busses I could loose my job. I depend on late night buses like the 95 to get me home from my late night shifts. Getting ride of these crucial busses to late night workers and students (like my roomate) is sentence to failure and jobless which affects our livelihood. Don't make me homeless.

There are many students from Ottawa U and Algonquin College that require frequent buses from Lees to downtown all day because students have classes at different times of the day. There are also many people living in the Lees Apartment buildings and the houses close to Lees station that need buses going to downtown 7 days a week.

Please, increase services at lees station.

We rely on the early morning service at this station, and a decrease in service would be crippling to my day.
