Signing the petition, but just saying. You guys are receiving more frequent service than one of the busiest routes in Ottawa route. 12 with the 85. And to inconvenience 900 000 people just to serve a few hundred of you with 10 minutes extra to serve Lees is just outrageous.

Update- Blockade protest will not have an end date, until OCtranspo provides more service to Uottawa/ Downtown at all hours of the day. We will also demand the resignation of these 2 useless overpaid government employees responsible for this mess: 1) Ottawa Assistant General Manager Pat Scrimgeour 2) Ottawa Transit Commision Chair Stephen Blais and while we are at it, maybe the Mayor too who seems to think money grows on trees, as if we are not paying enough taxes already, Keep throwing Millions on an un-needed train sir, I promise that you are on your way out next election.

This is ridiculous. I am organizing an ongoing protest for Lees residents/ students to block the Lees ramp (from the transit way) and the the East highway ramp to paralyze OCtranspo service and its riders just like they are paralyzing us. I am confident enough people will do their part and rotate shifts to block those 2 points at all times on the day, especially rush hour. I dont anticipate it will take OCtranpo too long to fix this after this action. This action will start mid next week if not earlier. More to come.

I live at Lees (and moved here specifically because of the exceptional bus service) and rely on the routes going through Lees station to get to work every day. Reducing the number of downtown routes by this much is insanity. With these changes there will only be two routes, 85 and 16, servicing downtown and the UOttawa Campus, even if buses comes every 5 minutes half the population of the 5 apartment buildings at lees, and who knows how many people from the surrounding neighbourhood, will be queuing at street level for just two buses every morning. It's to the point where I'm giving serious consideration to walking all the way to the UOttawa campus station just to skip the crowd that will inevitably be at Lees and catch a direct bus, rather than meander through the UOttawa campus and Sandy Hill and still have to transfer at McKenzie King. This needs to change.

150+ kids between 8:00 and 8:30 need to go to school from lees to campus, two busses is a joke

I don't understand how I'm supposed to get to work after Dec 20. I moved to this block in June and one of the reasons I did was how easy it is to get places from here. I have a lot of complaints about OC transpo but this just crossed the line.

Although i don't live in this area now i once used to, and it would be soooo much more convenient to have a direct route.

My friend Kim moved to this area specifically for the public transportation. She's had a hard year, and the decision to cut service has the year ending on a tough note for her. I'm sure she's not the only one. Please find a way to help the Kims out there. Happy holidays.

I use Lees station frequently and this is a huge inconvenience. Getting to and from the apartments there will be a hassle under the new bus routes.

I feel they are just pulling a Canada post at this point.

OC Transpo was designed to reduce congestion. By reducing service to any route it will be responsible for creating gridlock. Any reduction in service is very small minded and by forcing people to drive, environmentally irresponsible.

I moved to lees because of the Transitway. I work late at night, and need to be able to get home afterwards. By only having few runs of the 85, it will also make getting to school a nightmare. This is ridiculous. We need the bus coming at least every 5 minutes. It will still be absolutely packed.

I have back to back classes at both Ottawa main campus and lees campus with the bus being the only way to and from. The change in bus services is rediculous and extremely inconvenient for students
