- 26 is not old, in England the average age of farmers is 53.30.
- Smaller Clubs relies on older members of the club to Compete & help with guidance.
- I know a lot of people 26 yrs who still wish to compete.
- Many young people are not settling down until their 30's (unlike the olden days).
- You can be a young Farmer in Scotland till you are 30 years old.
- It will mean smaller clubs will have more members.

RIDICULOUS that Scotland gets to stay until 30 but we dont. my club is struggling for numbers and we need the older ones to help run things. change it now.

Completely agree. 26 is way too young to be pushed out. Most of us are only just getting started with our own farms at that age anyway.
