Should be 55 from South Meadows to Greg. Long line-of-sight. Little merging traffic. Bike lanes separated from roadway.

South Virginia is 55mph south of South Meadows Parkway with the same number of lanes but including a bi-directional turn lane. It makes no sense for a 3 lane divided road to posted 10 mph less, 45 mph, when it has substantially less traffic. Please increase the speed limit to 55mph.

I agree that in the residential areas the speed limit should be 45 (or 40) but on the section form Greg through Carat it should be 55 or 65 mph. This is a 3 lane section with limited traffic entering or exiting the roadway.

Would like to see 55 through non residential areas. Can drop to 45 as get closer to stop lights.
