We can't survive. We need to have our AISH increased so we can have a quality of life and end this time of living under the poverty line.

I totally agree our monthly income should totally be increased especially with everything getting hiked up and only get a lousy $100 bucks for a child like Aish is a damn joke considering children cost money too.. They have needs as well especially when they start preschool etc and makes it even harder when a parent doesnt even get child support let alone cant get proper foods for healthy eating cause its either bills or grocery nd if u pay bills u end up at a food bank then get chewed out for using ur services so damn straight we need to be able to survive in this ridiculous high priced economy..

This is not an exaggeration. I also get a rent subsidy from Calgary Housing (my rent has increased since 2008 to where I've reached the maximum allowed subsidy of $750/mo) and even with that combined with AISH, I struggle to make ends meet. If I did not have that, I'd be dead - I mean DEAD - on the street or in a dumpster somewhere. There's NO WAY a single adult can live on $1588/mo. Not in Calgary, that's for damn sure. An additional $1000/mo would be a MODEST start for an increase. Refugees getting $6000/mo? WTH?? Let's make it fair ; $3000/mo for EVERYONE! And if the refugees don't like THAT, they can go back where they came from. No one is holding a gun to their head to stay here.

AISH does need a increase , with the price of everything going up. You can only get a few things from the food bank . The Government people get raises and the PM Party increase their wage as soon as they get in . Why don't they take a cut in wage and give it to people on AISH ? By time I pay rent , bus pass , my bills I'm left with around $400 to last me all month for food and whatever else I need . I don't drink or do drugs or smoke

Please gibe us an increase its been 5 years since the last one yet immigrants are getting 6000 per month....how is that even fair obviously the moneys there

Please increase the aish to 2000.00 per month with the ablity for those who can work to make up to 1500.00 in order to help save money, get out of debt, and be able to pay for the increase in gas and electricity. Thank you
