Everyone knows what luxury place Dubai is. But only a countable number of visitors know what the life of laborer's are (many working for construction companies). They are the reason Dubai has the tallest and unique skyscrapers. What do they get in return?

These laborer's usually come from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other Asian countries. They have their own dreams when they come to UAE from their home countries. But they are rarely achieved.

They wake up early morning at 5am, prepare their tiffins and are transported by bus (mostly without air-condition and in the hot summers of Dubai) to the work field from their camps. They work for the average of 12-14 hours a day, some work for around 20 hours to get some living. They get back to their rooms, which is shared between 5+ people, have a shower, cook meals, eat them, sleep and they are ready for an another day. The basic facilities like washing machine, clean and hygiene toilets and kitchens are not provided by the employers and they themselves are not in a condition to satisfy their needs.

Their average salary is 800 dirhams per month, which are not even enough for their own living but also sent a part of their salary to their families in their home countries .
Friday is a holiday for them. But that's on the papers. On fridays, they wash their clothes by hand, clean their rooms and do other things which they cannot do on their work days.

This petition's goal is to increase the salary and living standards of these people. Your one signature (which will cost you nothing) can change many lifes. Share it with your friends/relatives.
