Why 3 firemen on an engine and or a truck when the standard is 4. My assessed fire tax was only $51 for the year. I’d gladly pay double that for the protection!

2 people on a truck is very dangerous for the community. Our firefighters deserve better. They put their lives on the line everyday for us.

Firefighters protect our community and we need to make it a top priority to be investing in these services. Our tax dollars should be used for us as intended, not for big business or data centers.

This needs resolved. We can’t keep pretending that there is enough staffing and funding for the people who sacrifice their lives for us on a daily basis with zero hesitation

While I don’t live in the area anymore, I have family who does and who travels the roads that make up the response area. The protection and safety of not only my family, but all is extremely important. Just as much as it is important to properly staff these fire trucks.

Our fire fighters deserve to be treated fairly and safely. They need these increases so they can work safely and get the job done without injuries or deaths.

All of the studies that have been done over the years and paid for by the taxpayers all come back saying the same thing…understaffed. Taxes have even been decreased in the township. There’s money there, it’s just a matter of where it gets allocated.

NFPA provides the MINIMUM standards and should be followed if not exceeded. Public safety shouldn’t be the first thing on the chopping block when it comes to budget tightening.

Resident for about 26 years. Unacceptable we put people's lives at risk due to "funding". How much money is someone's life worth?

It's not the old days when there were plenty of volunteers! I was one for alot of years and I'm a life member of Sprigetts Fire Co. just too old to fight fires any more !!!

The safety of the firefighters is a great concern to me as is the ability of the department to protect my home and the people I care about. The department should staff by national standards.
