Keeping three dogs should be allowed! How would any of you out there would be able to pick which one to get rid of?

3 dogs doesn't mean 3 mean dogs. We love our dogs and only take ones that are heading for the pound if we don't

One of the main reasons I wouldn't buy a home in Sturgis or neighboring Three Rivers (where I rented for 6 years) is because of the limits. Do the right thing Sturgis Government!

If you have the means and the space there should be no reason to limit someone's outpouring of love for an animal. If you don't take care of your pets, now someone else will be able to increase their extended family to 3 and decrease the amount of animals that have to be out down from irresponsible owners.

How about the allowed "third" dog comes from a shelter or rescue? As long as people are willing to take GOOD care of their animals.

We love our dogs and only take ones that someone else has given up on. Our Yorkie-poo came to us at 8 weeks old and we were the FOURTH owners. They go to the dog pound or get loving homes. I don't think 3 is too much to ask. Our dogs don't run the neighborhood, disrupt the neighbors, or cause a nuisance. They are vaccinated, feed well, have all the toys they could want. They are loving and well behaved.

That's why we need to get out there an assure people that's not the case. Even if that were the situation.... One more "aggressive" "mean" big dog isn't gonna change that there's already two other ones.

Everyone is entitled to have animals; there are exceptions everywhere, but more often than not, these families treat their animals like family. We deserve to keep our animals!
