I started this because I wondered if others felt the same way about our promise, but the depth of the stories you are all sharing has truly overwhelmed me. Please know that I am reading every single one of your entries and reflecting on the wide range of views coming in.

I am honestly overwhelmed by the response to this request for a consultation. It is clear that so many of you care deeply about these words and the future of guiding. This momentum belongs entirely to the community that stepped up to speak their minds.

Its time to move with the times. Not everyone is religious and the promise should reflect all the girls today not just some.
Why is this so hard for them to fix? Modernize it already. So many girls are left out because of the old fashioned wording.
