I am very passionate about this subject. Growing up in the English school system we were never taught about Black history. All we knew of was a background of slavery, but that is not the case. This book is very important for our young ones to understand the meaning of Black history. We were the pillar of society back in ancient times.

I believe it should be accessible to everyone, not just ethnic groups. We need to educate everyone on Black history, instead of just focussing on the slavery aspect. The African contribution to civilisation should be taught to all people of all nations in all walks of life.

It is imperative that they have this knowledge of our history (Especially the Blackamoores and their massive contribution) in the curriculum

In order to integrate the already marginalised black youth in this country it is imperative that they recognise a positive contribution their ancestors have made to english history. and the wealth of this nation.

If we are serious about education, then the black presence can no longer be hidden for without recognizing this critical contribution, the growth and development of Britain cannot be understood

Since Black Tudors have contributed to English society its only fear to make it known through the English curriculum as this will help in understanding English society today.

I believe that the true history needs to be told and support the efforts of this book and the efforts to persuade the Education Minister to include this into the National Curriculum so that all can learn something about history in particular African history.
