The big picture is to focus on everyone’s abilities and the long term out come for all individuals. Universal design principles were created to make architectural structures inclusive for all, technology for all, and learning tools for all. Why can’t we make musicals inclusive to all. IDEA was established over 20 years ago? Why are we still in the last, let’s make the change!

All children should be included regardless of their abilities, this is not a Broadway play of which the kids are getting paid, so let these children have the opportunity to enjoy this time . Their abilities may only shine in this time of their lives, don’t take this away from these kids!

As a resident in this district, I am overwhelmingly disappointed in the school’s lack of concern and disregard for its special needs students, and I do plan to reflect my displeasure vocally and through my voting decisions.

The teachers need to take this opportunity to teach tolerance, acceptance, kindness, empathy and respect. Every child has something to offer and simply wants to be accepted for who they are!!!! Well done Hailey!!!!! ❤️
