Catastrophic for the racing industry in this country and potentially making the industry more dangerous with potentially less skilled people trying to do the job at at hand. Enough lives and life changing injuries occur every year as it is !

Removing racing from the list would be a blow to many, workers, trainers and the world of horse racing.

Very detrimental to racing industry in Ballarat. Many trainers rely on skilled overseas track riders on a daily basis

There is already a shortage of good skilled horse people, the hours of work An also the salary or hours of pay never reflects on weekends or bank holidays. Not to mention the start An finish times of the nature of the industry.
Rain or shine were at work!
It's only going to get worse now.

With racing off the skilled worker list and trainers unable to outsource skilled labour staff will become less experiences not only impacting on the industry as a whole but also the welfare, care and management of the animals within it

I was on a 457 visa when i came to work in Australia, and am now a successful trainer. Australia needs capable trackriders and foremen to help the industry grow... so please support Racing Australia

The majority of trainers and horse owners are in favour of these skilled jockeys riding their million dollar horses.
They have spent years dedicating themselves themselves to their craft, put their lives on the line every time they ride, and have a lot to offer to the racing industry in Australia.
This is an international sport that brings attention, a certain degree of tourism and revenue into the country, so why not use the best the world has to offer?
The Racing Industry in Australia recognize this. So please, hear their voice and heed their request.

This will be a huge mistake. We need Skilled riders from Overseas. There are not many Australian Track work riders, we already have a shortage as it is. Riding Thoroughbreds is a trained profession, not everyone can do it.

Horse racing is a core family tradition I'm Australia with the Melbourne cup a yearly spotlight on the global stage.
Surely the government cannot be so ignorant as to not realise how important foreign talent is to this industry
Also my opinion is that Matthiau Autier is one of the best jockeys in Australia.
Many Thanks
