I have been spending my mornings on the phone with freight logistics managers who see the same bottlenecks I deal with on my own commutes. Their stories confirm that our current highway infrastructure is failing to keep up with the demands of international trade. We are currently preparing a formal packet to present to the regional transportation committee based on the feedback gathered here.

Seeing this progress helps me believe we can actually get the infrastructure support my hometown needs. I honestly thought I was shouting into the void when I started this, but now the momentum feels real and sustained.

As ED of Leadership Texarkana, we support the inclusion of I-69 in the National Freight Network
Development of this important corridor would not only boost commercial real estate activity in Western KY but across the Midwest and be the catalyst for better trade & political relations with our neighboring countries Mexico & Canada.
Madisonville’s I-69 corridor is less than 100 miles from the median center of U.S. Population, making our location ideally situated for fast distribution of products to the vast proportion of U.S. citizens. (NewCity Madisonville-Hopkins County study, 2008)
Completion of I-69 will enhance freight movement, improve safety and provide opportunities for economic development. Need to get it done!
Support I-69! INDOT has said in the past that SR 37 will need to be freeway grade someday anyway
Please support the inclusion of 1-69 in the National Freight Network. This link is of great importance in the growth of our economy and international trade. Thank you.
Take a trip along I-69 and it's importance is obvious

Inclusion of I-69 in the National Freight Network will be an additional economic development tool for Indiana, particularly rural areas that have previously been underserved by the interstate highway system. I-69 will be situated in close proximity to the Indianapolis International Airport freight hub and provide connectivity to ports along the Ohio River as well as a direct connection through I-69 in Michigan to international deep water ports. Upon completion, it is expected to be a major north-south freight route within the state.
